Craft Corner: Party Bunting4 Tuesday, May 14, 2013
It's time for another craft project that will help you entertain in style! Bunting has re-emerged as popular party decor and we put an RHS spin on it! We used our decorative scrapbook paper and a little red ribbon to make this simple party decor.

Red Hat Society Party Bunting

Tools

  • decorative paper
  • scrap cardboard or a manila folder to make a template
  • ribbon
  • scissors
  • hole punch

Steps

  1. Decide on what size you would like your bunting to be. We based ours on getting a few out of a 12 x 12 sheet of scrapbook decorative paper. Create a triangle out of the cardboard (or manila folder) in the size you would like your bunting to be.
  2. Cut the decorative paper with scissors into same size triangles using the template you created.
  3. Use a hole punch to punch two evenly spaced holes on each triangle.
  4. Lace ribbon through each hole, leaving extra ribbon on the ends for hanging your bunting.
  5. Hang and enjoy your handy work!
