Craft Corner: Decorative Tape Tea Lights4 Tuesday, October 15, 2013

This easy craft is an inexpensive way to jazz up a table when entertaining. They would be so lovely scattered around a table full of party food at your next gathering!

Decorative Tape Tea Lights

Glass votive holders and tea lights can be found at any dollar store or craft store. We prefer the plastic tea lights because they are more transparent and show the decorative tape best. Use any color or pattern tape you like and we love the look of mixing color and pattern!

Tools

  • Decorative paper tape (sometimes called washi tape)
  • scissors
  • glass votive holders
  • plastic tea lights

Steps

  1. Wrap decorative paper tape around the outside of the plastic tea light and cut neatly with a scissors.
  2. Drop the tea light into a glass votive holder and continue with as many as you'd like.
  3. Light the tea light and jazz up any table!
